2019 Château Lilian Ladouys,
a vintage that is fresh yet sumptuous.
🌤️ In 2019, all conditions are met to move towards a very beautiful vintage. Conditions for ripening were excellent. All four varieties clearly show the advantages of our clay-heavy gravel soils and the limestone bedrock beneath: each is expressive in its own way, and all four are fresh, rounded and full of flavour. The tannins are velvety, the balance exceptional: here is a wine similar in some ways to 2016 or 2018, yet even fresher and more aromatic.
🏅 Since the arrival of the Lorenzetti family in 2008, the estate has benefited from numerous investments and renovations. Drawing lessons from previous years, the wines improved from vintage to vintage. In 2020, Château Lilian Ladouys has been consecrated Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel : a new status rewarding all of the hard work and efforts undertaken over the past 10 years by our passionate team.
🌱 In continuity with all the work carried out to move to more eco-friendly practices in the vineyard, we are preparing for conversion to organic farming.
